The plan:
I use my love of travel, meeting new people and creating to give art to places we decide will do the most good. I will use my skills not only as a muralist, but as a sign painter to refresh small business signs, and I will do this for free.
The Challenge:
I will do everything in my power to pull this off. I will use my stored paints, my packed food and the gas in my tank but I will need to find ways to fund this along the way, which is where I'll need your help.

With a monthly subscription, a one time donation, a purchase from my store, a follow and a share you could greatly increase my effectiveness. The less time I spend finding how to make money the more places and time I can spend painting. I may be the one with the boots on the ground, but I have had massive amounts of help just to bring me to this point on this project. I wish to honor that help by accomplishing Operation Paint Can in the best possible way.
Around every 2 years I set myself up for an art adventure. I pack a vehicle full of paint, food, and a way to sleep and I make art (focused on large scale street art / murals) with a feeling of freedom that's hard to describe. The plan was simple, put my art in a high population area to get as many eyes on it as possible. With only a general direction in mind I set off on for adventure.
These experiences teach you a lot. To start, the power of art is hard is incredible. I have seen areas turn from depressing to positive sometimes overnight, and I have heard from nearby residents how much it has changed their mood for the better with real emotion behind their words.
This is when it started to dawn on me. I have been so focused on my art benefiting me that I have overlooked it's real potential. When I paint in a high population area it's great for views however the area is already saturated with great art. I have driven through so many wonderful small towns with little to no murals that just may want the change, just not the resources. Just like that my goals have changed. For one period in my life, I want to say I used my talents, my energy and my art to do the most good.
